Report Bullying

PSST World is a quick, safe, secure, and anonymous way to report school safety situations, including bullying, cyber bullying, abuse, conflicts, controlled substances, weapons, suicidal thoughts, vandalism, discrimination, threats, and any other safety concern. When reporting the situation, student does not need to leave their name. 

Note: The only reason that a student-reporter would need to leave their name and contact information is if they wish for someone to contact them directly.

PSST World es una manera rápida, segura, protegida y anónima de reportar situaciones de seguridad escolar, incluyendo el acoso escolar, ciberacoso, abuso, conflictos, sustancias controladas, armas, pensamientos suicidas, vandalismo, discriminación, amenazas, y cualquier otro problema de seguridad. Al reportar la información, el estudiante no necesita dejar su nombre. 

Aviso: La única razón por la que un alumno que presente un reporte tendría que dejar su nombre y datos de contacto sería si desea que alguien se comunique con él/ella directamente.

2017-2018 Registration

New Students to Vista Unified for the 2017-2018 school year.

  • Pre-Enrollment Steps:  Welcome to Monte Vista Elementary.  Please complete the following steps to pre-enroll your student if they have not attended a school in VUSD.
  • You can only pre-enroll your child at their VUSD school of residence.
  • For information on inter- and intra-district transfers click here.


STEP 1: Complete the Aeries AIR- Online Student Registration application.

  • Click here to pre-enroll your student at their school of residence.
  • After you finish and submit your application, you will receive an Enrollment Confirmation. Please print this document.
  • Access to a computer and printer is also provided by the school.

STEP 2: Contact our school office @ 760-726-0410 and confirm your student's pre-enrollment.

  • Bring the signed Enrollment Confirmation document, immunization records, birth verification and proof of residency to the office.  You should also bring any of the following that apply: student's current IEP or 504 Plan, restraining order or any court documents.
  • You will receive your Parent Portal account by email and any additional information will be provided by your school.

Re-Registration/Data Confirmation Steps

Please complete the following steps if your student will be continuing their education at Monte Vista. Re-registration will open on July 10th for the 2017-2018 school year.  You must have a Parent Portal account to complete this process. If you do not have an account, please contact our office or see below for directions for creating an account. This process will allow parents to verify student data, update contact information, and acknowledge/review critical district information and policies.


Complete the re-registration process by logging into the Parent Portal

  •      Please print and sign Student Emergency Card, Compact for Learning, Handbook Behavior Plan, Library Letter,              Media Release Form, and Student Health History and bring to the Family Information Night on August 14th or on              the first day of school to complete the Re-Registration process.

Emergency Cards

Have you printed and sent in a new emergency card this year?

If not, please complete this process on Parent Portal. When in Parent Portal, click the “Student Info” tab and then select “Data Confirmation.” Verify the emergency information is correct, print it out, sign it and return it to our office as soon as possible.


Updated emergency card information is critical in order for us to be prepared to care for your child in case of illness, injury, or an emergency. Thank you in advance for your prompt attention to this very important matter.

“Educational Enrichment Systems (EES) partners with VUSD to provide high-quality part-day preschool at Monte Vista Elementary School, and 10 other sites. EES also provides full day preschool at two locations in Vista. These educational programs are free to families that meet income eligibility requirements as determined by the California Department of Education.
