FRIDAY FLAG CEREMONY
We meet every other Friday on the upper playground for Friday Flag at 8:05. Friday Flag ceremonies are designed to build culture, traditions, and school spirit at Monte Vista Elementary. We begin our ceremony with music and dancing. The Student Council leads staff, students, and visitors through the Flag Salute, Student Pledge and Student Code of Conduct. Individual classes and grade levels also show their spirit by doing their college chant. Student awards, School Announcements, and the Morning Message are also presented at the ceremony. \
